[News] Lee Min Ho Surprised at News that He’ll be in ‘Faith’

Lee Min Ho is up for grabs, but it seems one drama was just a bit too eager to get him on its side. Lee Min Ho was taken aback by news reports released on February 28 that he was cast for the Kim Jong Hak and Song Ji Na team’s upcoming drama Faith.

A rep from Lee Min Ho’s agency said on February 28, “We’re considering many pieces because we’ve received many offers. Faith was one that we were considering as [Lee Min Ho’s] next piece, but we didn’t know news had been released. He’s busy in Hong Kong with his ad shoot and fanmeeting. He’ll be confirming his next piece and schedules after he returns to Korea.” Lee Min Ho is currently in Hong Kong after leaving for the country on February 27.The man is rising fast as a household name in Greater China. His dramas Personal Taste and City Hunter became big hits, and last year, Lee Min Ho landed modeling contracts with the clothing brand Semir and Hyundai Motors’ Veloster. All branches of Semir in China and Hong Kong are covered with Lee Min Ho photos, and a giant advertisement of Lee Min Ho posing for Veloster is on display downtown.

The rep added, “We believe he’ll be busy with Japan and China promotions until March. Please be patient because he’ll surely come back within the year with a great piece.” Lee Min Ho even graced the headlines of a major media outlet in Hong Kong, and he will return to Korea early March after wrapping up his advertisement shoot on February 29.
