Hello. Nice to meet you. I’m LMH. From now on, i’ll post the interview during my spare time. Me-users (referring to me2day), please don’t panic ^^. The initial preparation was to infuse a sense of agility and strength to my character’s external appearance through action practices and building up stamina. As the script was penned and i started to learn more about the character, I started to concentrate more on Yoon Sung’s inner pain, loneliness, how he uses a different exterior to shield his inner turmoil and his emotional changes.

What did it feel like having personally rode on the elephant in Thailand? It must be rather difficult riding on it without a saddle. 코끼리 위에 올라타서 앉을 때까지 몇 발짝을 더 걸어야 했을 정도로 컸어요. 영상에는 안 나왔는데, 코끼리를 타고 강도 건너보고요. 너무 좋았죠~ 맘이 잘 맞았는지 코에서 저에게 뭘 시원하게 뿜어주는데 코에서 나오는 그게 침인 줄도 처음 알았고…….. 오후 10시 25분 After getting on the elephant, it took a few steps before i managed to sit on it. Although it didn’t come out in the video, I even crossed a river sitting on the elephant. Of course it felt great~ Perhaps it grew too fond of me that it spewed out some cool liquid on me. How do you rid yourself of the character you play after the project’s completed? 그런 것 같아요.. 작품 끝내고 휴식도 취하고 다른 일을 하다 보면 자연스럽게 벗어지는 것 같아요. 오후 4시 35분 It seems so.. After completing a project, I rest and do other things and naturally pull out of the character. Q8. 모니터를 할 때 데뷔 초기와 많이 달라진 점들이 눈에 띄나요? 어떤 점들이 눈에 들어오나요? by 일간스포츠연예팀 [1/4] Q8. While monitoring yourself, do you find any thing that has changed compared to when you first debut? What are those points? 데뷔 초기와 비교해 본 적은 없고요, 씬 중간마다 모니터하는 편인데 제 생각과 다르게 표현될 때가 있잖아요. 녹음해 보면 자기 목소리가 아닌 것 같이 들리는 것처럼요. 주관적인 시선에서 머물지 않게 해 주는 것 같아요. 오후 4시 34분 I haven’t compared myself to when I first debuted. I tend to view the monitor in the midst of filming, there are times when my expression was different from what I thought. That is the same feeling i get when i hear my recorded voice (as if it’s not his voice). it keeps me from staying subjective (???). There are other people that are younger than me in City Hunter, so i’m working hard in a bright lively environment. As I watch these sunbaes, the first thought that came to me was that i have to work hard. As for my current role… since the original manga exists, I’m channeling my effort to the new interpretation of Lee Yoon Sung through a korean charisma/appeal. Did kim bum say anything good about City Hunter? 드라마를 할 때 힘든 부분을 서로 알고 있기 때문인지… 많은 이야기 보다는 다치지 말고 끝까지 화이팅 하자! 라는 이야기를 서로 해요. 배려해주는.. 그런 말들이 많은 의지가 되고 있어요. 오후 2시 40분 Perhaps it’s becoz we both understand the difficulties when filming a drama… instead of conversing a lot, we usually tell each other to not get hurt (not get into accidents) and forge on ahead (hwaiting!). These kind consideration…those kinda words become a strong support. Q16. 민호씨, ‘꽃남’ 이후 아무렇지 않게 번화가를 돌아다녀본 적도 있나요? 혹시 대중교통을 이용해본 적은? by 일간스포츠연예팀 [2/4] Q16. MH-sshi, after BOF, have you ever wandered on a busy street? What about using the public transportation? 꽃남 당시에는 사실 어려웠죠~ 꽃남후에 해외 프로모션 갔을 때 스텝들과 걷는데 옆을 지나가시던 한국 분들이 “이민호 아냐?”“이민호가 여기서 저러고 있겠어?” 라고 하시는거예요. 재미도 있었고.. 기분이 묘했던 기억이 나요. 요즘에는 혼자 잘 돌아다녀요ㅋ 오후 3시 13분 In reality, it was difficult to do so during the time of BOF~ After BOF, i was out for overseas promotion. While walking with the staff, people of korean ethnicity who passed by us would say ‘isn’t that LMH?’ ‘is it possible for LMH to be doing that here?’ It was kinda interesting… and amusing. It has been 2 days since me2day talk started. Do you access me2day through the computer or through a smartphone? It seems like you pay special thoughts to the action scenes recently. 오전부터 한 씬 촬영하고 저녁까지 씬이 비어서 이렇게 인터뷰를^^ 액션은 연습해 온 부분도 있고요.. 현장에서 감독님과 상의도 많이하고 아이디어도 내고 스텝들까지 공동작업이라.. 숟가락액션 처럼 신선한 요소들도 있으니까요 시청자 분들이 재미있게 봐 주셨으면 좋겠어요. 오후 2시 55분 I filmed one scene in the morning. I don’t have any scenes until night time so i’m doing the interview ^^. There are parts of the action scenes that I have practiced before… I discuss a lot with the director at the filming location, provide ideas, and work together with the staff… just like the spoon action, there will be fresh elements so i hope the viewers will have a fun time watching the drama. Q19. 소품 말고 연습용으로 따로 프라모델 총을 구입하시진 않았나요? 그런 조립식 장난감 등을 좋아하시는지? by 일간스포츠연예팀 [1/5] Q19. Aside from props, did you purchase a plastic model gun for practice? Do you like such self-assembly toys? 샀어요. 원작의 사에바 료가 콜트 파이슨 357을 쓰거든요.. 종류도 몇 개 갖고 있고요. 맞추는 연습도 했는데… 비비탄 치우는게…… 일이었어요 ㅋ 그 후에는 실탄 사격연습장도 갔어요. 오후 3시 4분 장난감, 좋아하죠. 헬기 날리는 것도 좋아하고 자동차 조종하는 것도 좋아하고요. 매니저 형 rc헬기 망가뜨렸던 기억이 나네요 ㅋ 오후 3시 4분 I bought it. I have practiced shooting using ball bullets. laugh. after that, i went for target practice using live ammunition. Self-assembly kits, i like them. I like flying toy helicopters, and manipulating cars. I remember breaking my manager’s rc helicopter. When your condition is not good, what secret method do you use to overcome it? 컨디션이 안 좋을 때 말수가 좀 없어지는데요, 우선은 잠을 좀 자면 나아져요. 일하는 도중에는 어쩔 수 없으니까. 좋은 쪽으로 생각하고, 나쁜 일은 빨리 잊고, 여러분의 비법도 알려주세요 ㅎㅎ 오후 3시 16분 I tend to speak less when my condition is not good. firstly, if i replenish my sleep, i’ll get better. but if i’m working, there’s nothing i can do.
